Providing the Bendigo community with fresh, regional and seasonal produce.

Held on the second Saturday of every month from 9 am to 1 pm at Sidney Myer Place, Bendigo, the Bendigo Community Farmers Market is accredited with the Victorian Farmers Market Association (VFMA). Accreditation means that as a shopper, you can have confidence that the person you are transacting with is the person who grew or made the produce. As a regional farmers market, we are required to have a minimum of 75% accredited stallholders. We generally operate well over that benchmark.

The Bendigo Community Farmers Market is run by a volunteer committee, along with a paid market manager and communications manager.

Farmers Growing Community

Our market is proud to have some of our region’s best seasonal produce represented with us. Shopping at the farmers market means you get high quality, freshly harvested produce, in season, in a traditional, market square atmosphere. It also means that you are directly supporting the farmers of the Bendigo region, and thus contributing to the local community.

Parking

You can find ample free parking close by the market on Saturdays: in Hargreaves Street multi-storey carpark (next to the Reject Shop); above Rosalind Park (access via Gaol Road, behind the Art Gallery); along Pall Mall, along Park Road and in the Park Road car park.
